Painted from the visual memory of Romanian propaganda imagery, where optimism and menace shared the same palette.

A smiling leader in a blue suit stands before a wheat field, a militia car and a slogan promising the harvest to the state. The flying pig above the sign is the only honest witness in the scene.

A domestic interior of the 1980s dissolves into dream: patterned wallpaper, a peacock, a clownfish on the tiles and a winged deer at the window. Private life under surveillance, remembered as farce.
